Upcoming 2025 Breeding Plans
Reservations can be made on unborn kids (no deposit required until kids arrive). When kids arrive, we contact those on the waiting list in the order they were added. You can then choose at that time if you would like the kid that resulted from that pairing. It is at this time you can place a deposit on your kid and this will hold them until the arranged pick up time once weaned. Please fill out the reservation options below for each pairing of your choice and we will add you to our 2024 list!
*Please note a few things about our waiting lists:
-In an effort to try and improve our herd as much as possible, we do reserve the right of first choice on any of the below pairings. We try and keep our "keeper" list small every year in order to keep our numbers to a manageable amount, so we are forced to wait until kids arrive to make the oh so tough decision of who gets to stay a Whimsy Woods' resident, and who gets to go to their new exciting journey to another farm.
-For kids being dam raised, kids stay here on the farm until weaning age. We will have some bottle kids available this year to experienced goat homes. We will send you lots of pictures and post regular kid updates on our Facebook page, where you can watch your kid grow during their time here.
- All of our kids typically arrive to you disbudded, however if it is your preference to have your kid's horns intact, arrangements can be made in advance for that to happen. All kids with intact horns must be paid in full by the time they are 7 days old. No exceptions and no refunds once paid.
-Once contacted regarding a kid on your waiting list being born (this typically happens within the first week of life, once everyone has settled in), you will have 48 hours to decide if you would like to proceed with your chosen kid. If we do not hear a response after 2 days, we will be forced to move on to the next person on the list.
-You may choose multiple pairings (especially since life does not always grant us what we wish for). We will assign due dates to each pairing once breeding takes place. Making a reservation on multiple parings in no way locks you into a kid from that pairing until kids actually arrive and you can see what is available to you. :)
